Color theory methods, also known as schemes, aid us in the creative process.  Transferring what we read, think, know into application can be tricky.  Struggles we may encounter in the creative process include but are not limited to color choices, colors blending together, colors not playing well together, accentuating dimensionality, representing a desired end result, recognizing there is a problem without certainty of what or how to rectify, changes too soon, etc.

Color Theory 201 will cover eight essential color methods.  Delving into theory with an emphasis on three of the methods and consider the information for application.  Through discussions and practical exercises, each participant will develop examples of color schemes for a personal study guide.

Materials included:  Sundry of art supplies, wool, linen backing

Students bring:  Hooking frame, scissors, hook, cutter (any size cut #8 or below), notepad, pencil.

Additional supplies available, priced as marked.

Why ask about a class I have not yet taken?

This is for a class at the HookIn in February, 2025. I won't know until I take the class if I like it. I also bought 3 days worth of tickets for the HookIn. Why aren't you asking about those?
